s a musician, writer, and speaker, I always love connecting with people and finding new challenges. Hire me to be your spokesperson or to speak at your event. Invite me to write something for your publication or to be your musical director. I can create a special band for your event or put fun into learning with a rock camp or songwriting workshop. Need a gift for someone that has everything? How about an original song?

To Be Your Spokesperson

Brookside Chocolate offered me a selective spot amongst seven other super cool women to be a spokeswoman for a “Ballsy” campaign! It became the gift that kept giving! Not only did we do this great photo and video shoot in New York, with a top team of talent, but I was also asked to appear on a panel discussion at Hershey Headquarters set up by their Women’s Group and at a press event announcing a contest giveaway.

I LOVED being part of the “Gamechanger” campaign for Rainbow Light. I got to perform and speak at this massive natural food and supplement convention. I enjoyed receiving all the responses from people who would call or email or post about seeing me in national magazine ads.

To Speak At Your Event

I’ve had the honor of being the keynote speaker for the American Heart Association, Musicians for Equal Opportunities for Women (MEOW), and Kids In a New Groove.
Participating in Austin non-profits the SIMS Foundation as a featured speaker as well as being an MC and host for Grounded In Music made me really proud of my hometown’s commitment to supporting musicians without insurance and helping underserved kids connect with music. You can learn more about the SIMS Foundation here and Grounded in Music here!
I’ve been honored to judge and participate on many panels such as the Literary Death Match, the Lousiana Music Prize, and SXSW. These opportunities give me a connection to the talent that is growing all around us. One of my favorites was speaking to a room full of teenagers at St. Stephens school about songwriting. That was one toughest audience.

To Write For Your Publication

Need a story for your magazine, blog or digital media? Here’s a link to some music writing I did for the esteemed online music site, The Talkhouse. Assign me a topic and I will write about it.

To Be Your Musical Director

Orchestrated and organized an all-star all-woman band to kick-off the Seattle’s Experience Music Project Museum “Women In Rock” exhibit

To Create a Special Band for Your Event

Orchestrated and organized an all-star all-woman band to kick-off the Seattle’s Experience Music Project Museum’s (now called the Museum of Popular Culture) “Women In Rock” exhibit. We named ourselves the Bad Empressions, and featured Patty Schemel (Hole) on drums Dominique Davalos (The Bluebonnets) on bass, and Shae Padilla (KSM) on lead guitar, and myself. We backed up an amazing line up of singers: Donita Sparks (L7) Anabella Lwin (Bow Wow Wow), Kim Shattuck (The Muffs) along with some outstanding Seattle talent.

I’ve created bands for Austin’s Blanton Museum of Art 50th Anniversary Gala and the Grammy’s Musician’s Assistance Program annual event.

To Do A Rock Camp or Songwriting Workshop

Recently did a rock camp for Moms. It was a blast!

To Write An Original Song for you or Someone

It’s fun to see the surprise when someone hears a song written especially for them. It’s unique gift. Treat yourself or someone who is hard to surprise.
With enough info on your subject, I can do this for you.
